Recipe Of The Week:

Within this page, I will list all of the recipe that I formulated and built up, as well as guess recipes from others.   My recipes are meant to be easy to make.  I do not profess to be a chef nor possess great culinary skills.  Some of the recipes here are basic ideas I came up with in my quest to select healthy choices to eat on a daily basis.  Not all recipes here will be of the low-calorie variety.

    No, really, we tried it and we liked it. Okay, we had to substitute a few things, what with living in Canada I couldn’t find (nor had I ever even heard of) great northern beans. (Which is strange, because the only “great northern” is this country right here!)
    What? Oh yeah. Scaled back on the water chestnuts as well, but all in all, a very satisfying meal. Only slightly spicy, which is good for company. Next time we’ll probably add more cayenne or cumin or whatever! lol (As if I know what I’m talking about!)

  2. I’m glad you liked it. I had to tweak this recipe since then. I formulated it to fit a serving of 4-6 instead of 7-10. And actually, I’m making this dish today.
