Thanks Chloe. That's a good way of going about weight loss as you mentioned. We all can benefit from positive self-talk as a coping and motivational tool. I don't weight myself each morning because the body will lie to you if done that often, from what I've recognized with my exercise routine. Congrats on the weight loss

Wow Chloe, that's so nice to her that you're meeting your weight lost goals. You must have been pretty consistent to have lost so much in a small amount of time. But ya know, the more we understand how calorie intake effects weight lost/gain, the journey is that much attainable. In a nutshell, the 3500 calories is equal to 1 pound. So, we must burn off 3500 calories just to lose 1 pound. Sounds dooming, but it really isn't. Everything we do on a daily basis is equal to calories burned, and at the end of the day, if we've burned more calories than we've taken in, in a few days we began to see pounds falling off. The keep to increasing our metabolism is to increase our activities in every which way possible. I'm working on my next post to bullet point ways to burn calories without even exercising. Some of you will be surprised. Thanks Chloe for your response.

I've to completely agree with this. Weighing myself each morning is a great motivator for me. I just tell myself, just 1 pound more, and another...and another. It's what keeps me going each day.

And before I know it, I've lost 16 pounds in 2 months! so good tip, definitely.
